What is email Forwarding
Mail forwarding works the same way as forwarding your phone calls.
If you already have an email account you may choose to forward your
kent.edu account to your current account.
Here's how it works. If you have an email address already....
"jsmith@aol.com". You can forward your mail from (kent.edu)
jsmith@kent.edu to (another email
address) jsmith@aol.com Forwarding
is a way of sending email to an address other than the one to which it
is addressed.
To start your email forwarding, follow the instructions below.
The auto forward setting is available under the E-mail Options
tab.
1. If
you have not already done so, log into Flashline and open your email.
2. Click the Options tab.
3. Click on Settings.
4. In the Mail Forwarding field, enter your e-mail address on another
mail system. For example, you may want to forward mail to your Hotmail
account. In such case, you would enter your e-mail address for your
Hotmail account.
5. To
enable auto forwarding, click Save Changes. To exit without setting an
auto forward address, click on Inbox or some other tab without clicking
Save Changes.
